winning "burn WORLD DJ CONTEST 2013" Japan division, YAMATO
an up and coming young DJ from Japan competed at "burn Studios
Residency" in Ibiza as 2013 regional finalist of Japan, where AVICII
from Sweden also performed. It didn? t take a day for AVICII to approach
YAMATO to ask to come along to support AVICII at his show in Budapest,
Hungary.
........YAMATO DJed right after AVICII and it was AVICII ? s very first encounter of a Japanese DJ to share the stage with, and he didn? t disappoint AVICII with what he delivered. This invitation and experience with AVICII gave YAMATO a push to pursue further in his career. After the Budapest appearance, YAMATO performed as MADEON? s warm-up DJ in October 2013, and went on to perform "Road To ULTRA JAPAN" in December. YAMATO continues his career by appearing at "ELECTROX 2014" in Makuhari Japan, Japan? s first EDM new year festival, where he was lined up with STEVE AOKI, STEVE ANGELO, LAIDBACK LUKE and many more. |

after a year from his winning at "burn WORLD DJ CONTEST 2013"
, YAMATO received an invitation to play at Sankeys in Manchester in early
May 2014, with Ali Shirazinia, commonly known by his stage name DUBFIRE,
and packed the house, where of course he played the main stage. YAMATO
participated in "AFROJACK" event in May 2014 at Shinkiba ageHa
venue in Tokyo where APSTER and D-WAYNE also shared the stage. ........In the summer of 2014, YAMATO appeared at SONICMANIA, the pre-party followed by SUMMER SONIC Festival. SONICMANIA 2014 featured KRAFTWERK, ZEDD, 2MANYDJS, DESTRUCTO and many other talents performed that night. There, YAMATO skillfully lifted the spirit of the packed floor till the dawn. |

night before SONICMANIA performance, YAMATO shared the stage with DESTRUCTO
at "Drop The Beat with HARD" hosted at W Hotel in Hong Kong,
which brought the two DJs closer through the consecutive nights together.
........YAMATO continues his career by appearing many international festivals including ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL JAPAN, which was held in September 2014 for the first time in Japan, also he is returning to the stage of "ELECTROX" in January 2015, among world's top DJs such as ARMIN VAN BUUREN, ABOVE & BEYOND, DIPLO, DVBBS and many more. ........YAMATO also extends his field in songwriting/producing music. In November 2014, he produced and remixed track"Glorious", the hit single by Grammy awarded English singer-songwriter FOXES. In January 2015, YAMATO released his very first MIX CD "SPINNIN' IN THE MIX mixed by YAMATO"featuring massive international hits from Holland's top dance label SPINNIN' RECORDS. ........YAMATO's song-writing pursuit took place and releases his first original track "FEEL YOUR LIGHT Feat. MATT CAB" on Japanese iTunes, on January 14th 2015. His musical taste and touch with edgy beats brought him to be one of the hottest upcoming track-maker in JAPAN. In 2015, YAMATO is scheduled to tour major cities of Japan to support "SPINNIN' IN THE MIX mixes by YAMATO" ........Fully exploiting Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS, YAMATO?s technical yet vibrant and dynamic performance keeps impacting the audience and fellow djs, that we will soon witness his greater achievements. |
