known as one half of the Grammy Award Winning Multi-platinum hip hop group
DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince (The other half being better known
as Will Smith) DJ Jazzy Jeff is one of the pioneers of hip hop and turntablism.
Jazzy Jeff The Magnificent as he is known
to be called is arguably the inventor of the scratch technique known as
The Transformer and inventor of the Chirp scratch two of the earliest
tricks of the DJ trade and they helped to win him the DMC Championship
title in 1986 Earlier that year he met Will Smith at a Philadelphia house
party and the chemistry was instant. They shared the same sense of humor
and began to put that to records teaming up to record Will Smiths first
single Girls Aint Nothing But Trouble Jeff and Will then went on to
sign to JIVE records and release their first album Rock the House which
is a landmark in Hip-Hop Music. It featured the first song dedicated to
the DJ (the Magnificent Jazzy Jeff) which was the first time the Transformer
and Chirp Scratches were recorded The album also featured A Touch of
Jazz Which was the first time Jazz and Hip hop were fused together in
a record. The album went Gold and was one of the first hip-hop albums
to go mainstream. In 1988 they followed up with the album Hes the DJ
Im the Rapper with the hugely successful single Parents Just Dont Understand

| เดินทางมาเมืองไทยเป็นครั้งแรกหรือไม่ครับ -เดินทางมาเมืองไทยเป็นครั้งที่ 2 แล้วนะครับครั้งแรกมาเมื่อ 5 ปีแล้ว การแสดงในวันนี้รู้สึกอย่างไรบ้างครับ -การเดินทางการมาแสดงที่นี่ในคืนนี้เมื่อการกลับบ้านนะครับ รูปแบบการแสดงในคืนนี้มีแนวคิดอย่างไรบ้างครับ -การแสดงในผับคิวบาคืนนี้ มันเป็นการแสดงแบบที่เราเรียกว่า Hip Hop Night แน่นอนผมเป็นดีเจเพลง Hip Hop การแสดงที่ดีที่สุดและเยี่ยมที่สุดต้องที่นี่ที่คิวบาเท่านั้น อะไรคือสิ่งสำคัญที่สุดในการเป็นดีเจของคุณคับ -การเป็นดีเจที่สำคัญที่สุดคือการทำให้คนที่แปลกหน้าแปลกตาทุกคนสนุกและเหมือนพวกเค้าเป็นคนครอบครัวเดียวกันแนเพื่อกันและสนุกไปด้วยกันครับ สิ่งที่ท้าทายในปีนี้ 2555 ครับ ผมว่าการดนตรีและการเล่นดีเจเป็นสิ่งที่สนใจมาก เพราะว่าแนวดนตรีแบบเทคโนจะผสมผสานกับเล่นดนตรีอื่นๆ มากขึ้น Hip Hop เทคดน แจ๊ส ฟังส์ อินดี้ เรียกว่า ผสมผสานกันไปมันจะกลายเป็นแนวใหม่ๆ สีสันใหม่ๆ ในยามค่ำคืนให้ทุคนได้สนุกสนานกัน โปรแกรมแสดงต่อไปจากเมืองไทยที่ไหนครับ -ต่อจากประเทศไทยจะเดินทางไปบราซิลครับ |

อะไรที่คุณชอบที่สุดในเมืองไทย
-เป็นประเทศเปิดเป็นเสรีทางดนตรีจะแสดงดนตรีในแนวไหนก็ได้หมดครับ ซึ่งมันมีความสุขมากครับ ปรัชญาในการทำงานของคุณคืออะไรครับ -ทำงานแล้วต้องได้สิ่งตอบแทนครับ สำหรับการดำรงชีวิตคือเงิน สำหรับด้านจิตใจคือทุกคนชอบเพลงของผมครับ ในปีหน้ามีแพลนจะทำอะไรต่อไปบ้างครับ -ยังคงทำงานหาเงินอยู่ต่อไปครับ ฝากอะไรถึงคนฟังในปี 2012 หน่อยครับ -อยากให้ทุกคนมีความสุขมากๆ นะครับ และขอให้เป็นตัวของตัวเองและฟังเพลงกันเยอะๆ นะครับ |
