Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide PR.NEWS :8 November 2011 Yamaha Motor Group Companies donated multipurpose engine with long-tail propeller kits, water pump sets and Yamalube oil worth totally Baht 6.1 million to the Disaster Relief Center of Royal Thai Armed Forces for use in flood relief efforts, with Supreme Commander General Thanasak Patimaprakorn presiding over the hand-over ceremony at Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters. |

Mr. Fumiaki Nagashima, Chief Executive Officer, Thai Yamaha Motor Co.,
Ltd. said that over 40 years of Yamahas operation in Thailand, the
current flood crisis is the most serious one. Yamaha Motor has closely
monitored the situation with concerns and set aside a budget of 33 million
yen or 11 million Baht for help in the relief efforts. Thai Yamaha Motor
Co., Ltd. also initiated a flood relief program since September to identify
measures which provide crucial support, best suit the situation and
can be implemented as quickly as possible to help flood victims gain
strength to survive the situation.
.......From the beginning of the flood crisis in several parts of Thailand, the Royal Thai Armed Forces has continued to stand in the forefront in offering help to relief efforts for flood victims. Yamaha Motor Group Companies are determined to support the relief effort mission of the Royal Thai Armed Forces by donating 300 units of water pump set, worth Baht 3 million; 300 units of multipurpose engine with long-tail propeller kits, worth Baht 3 million and 1,000 bottles of Yamalube oil worth Baht 100,000, with a total value of Baht 6.1 million. These donated items will be used in flood relief efforts of the Disaster Relief Center of Royal Thai Armed Forces as well as in flood relief activities and news reporting of TV Channel 3s 3 Miti News program and Thai PBS. |

| Previously .......Yamaha Motor Group Companies and Yamahas flood relief program donated 3,000 units of life jacket worth Baht 1,000,000 and 10 units of outboard motor worth Baht 1.3 million to Chaipattana Foundation; donated Baht 3,290,000 cash contributed by Yamaha Corporation Group, its employees and nationwide dealers; donated 500 rescue bags to flood victims in Ayutthaya Province, as well as dispatched volunteer teams to provide on-site relief effort assistance to flood victims in Rangsit Klong 4. Taweewattana District and other affected areas. Yamahas flood relief program will continue to closely follow-up the situation in order to prepare other necessary support measures to help flood victims. |
