“Motor Expo” continues
The 5th Year running of “Duai Lom Hai Jai Rai Mon Thin” Project
With a new song “Duai Lom Hai Jai Thi Rai Mon Thin”
To nurture honesty in teenagers
......... Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd., organizer of “THE 28th THAILAND INTERNATIONAL MOTOR EXPO 2011” or Motor Expo 2011 continues the 5th year running of “Lom Hai Jai Rai Mon Thin” Project with activity through a song called “Duai Lom Hai Jai Thi Rai Mon Thin” written by Jirapan Ansvananda to cultivate integrity in Thai youths.
.........Said Chamaiporn Paphatphong, Director of “Uncontaminated Breath” Project by Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd, Organizer of Motor Expo 2011, “For this year the Project has been honoured by Jirapan Ansvananda, a leading song writer of Thailand with a large number of timeless masterpieces such as “Khwam Rak”, Wela Nai Khuat Kaeo”, and “Toem Jai Hai Kan”, who has composed a song entitled “Duai Lom Hai Jai Thi Rai Mon Thin” which will become the Theme Song of the Project as well as an optional song in the singing contest this year.
.........“This year is the 5th year running of the Project. After each annual event, we do a post-appraisal to come up with new activities that appeal to young people. The conclusion is that the Project should produce new melody and lyrics of the Project Theme Song to convey message in the language of teenagers for better communication and understanding, thus attracting a larger numbers of youths and increasing the number of Project enrolments,” said Chamaiporn.
.........The original “Lom Hai Jai Rai Mon Thin” sung by Jennifer Kim came with optional genres of folk, jazz, march and rock for contestants to choose whichever was best suited to themselves. The lyrics had profound meanings, appropriate for reminding Thais to unite their power of honesty to develop Thailand. In comparison, the newly composed “Duai Lom Hai Jai Thi Rai Mon Thin” sung by Art Tomya a new age singer, is an easy listening pop song, expressing commitment to improve oneself. Both songs will feature in the singing contest this year.
.........
Said Jirapan Ansvananda, composer of the song “Duai Lom Hai Jai Thi Rai Mon Thin”, “I look upon Lom Hai Jai Rai Mon Thin Project as an ideological dream that people in Thai society will be nice and decent, never cheating or taking advantage of another but rather sharing out and helping one another. I spent about 3 months on trying to convey the concept through the song
.........“Duai Lom Hai Jai Thi Rai Mon Thin”, drawing inspiration from mixing with the younger generation to learn about their determination to lead a better life.”
.........“The genre of the song is contemporary easy-listening and the language is easy to understand. I devise the song as the singer’s soliloquy – expressing his resolve to lead a nice clean life – and I am so pleased to have the song’s meaning conveyed to listeners by Art Thomya, a young talent,” said Jiraphan.

.........“In the past twenty-odd years, the Thai society has gone through a sea change. The majority of people value money and materialism without caring whether the money is obtained by fair means or foul, resulting in extensive corruption in public and private sectors and this is starting to spread to young people who have the attitude that they would like to grow up to become rich without doing much work. Such are problems that all parties need to cooperate and solve in earnest for the sake of the country’s future,” added Jiraphan.
.........In publicizing the Project, Pattaracharee Aiyasiri or “Na Nid”, founder of the “Phueng Noi Club”, who now runs a radio show for children and family, has lent her support by airing the song on FM 105 Mhz. Also, Dr. Patcharaporn Panyawuthikrai, Pharmacist, or “Ajarn Ple”, Honorary Advisor of the Project, played the song at a Youth Training Camp organized by the Office of Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) attended by 70-80 students. The response was encouraging as after only a few reruns of the song, most could sing along.
.........In September a mobile unit of the Project would organize activities complementing introduction of the song “Duai Lom Hai Jai Thi Rai Mon Thin” and visit about 20 schools in Bangkok such as Rittiyawannalai School, Benjamaborphit School, Wat Phai Ngoen Chotanaram School, Watpolmanee School and Wat Bookkalo School, for example.
