........Guy Laroche announces two major, national marketing campaigns: ‘Sweet Escape to Prague and Vienna’ & the 2nd annual model search ‘U-Guy’. These campaigns are designed to enhance year-end sales revenue, while the model search campaign is also structured to attract a new target group of clientele to the Guy Laroche brand.

........Bangkok – ICC International Public Company Limited is one of Thailand’s largest distributors of consumer products with more than 100 local and international licensed brands under its corporate umbrella. The company has been actively promoting Guy Laroche, the renowned French men’s apparel line, through various marketing activities and campaigns, since the beginning of this year. Plans for 2012 include two major marketing campaigns that have been scheduled to launch at the end of the 2011: ‘Sweet Escape to Prague and Vienna’ and ‘U-Guy’ (an innovative brainchild initiated by the brand a year ago).
........Guy Laroche is one of the world’s most well-recognized brands that has enjoyed wide recognition by Thai consumers for over 27 years. Three brands reside under the Guy Laroche trademark: Guy Laroche Paris, a men’s apparel line for businessmen; Guy Guy Laroche, a trendy fashion label for young executives; and Guy Laroche innerwear. During the first nine months of 2011, the sale revenue for Guy Laroche products grew by 24% from the same period last year. With the introduction of the two major campaigns identified above, Mrs. Kityaporn Chaithavornsathien, the Vice President Division D, expects the brand to reach a 30% growth target by year end.
........‘Sweet Escape to Prague and Vienna’ is the latest marketing campaign launched by ICC for Guy Laroche. Under this promotion, five all-expense paid, romantic getaway packages are being offered to the winning couples. They will be spending 6 romantic days and 5 intimate nights in Prague and Vienna with the famous singer-actor, Matthew Deane, in March 2012.
........Mr. Suchart Layluxsiri, Deputy Vice President Division D for Guy Laroche and Daks, is enthusiastic about the ‘Sweet Escape to Prague and Vienna’ campaign. ‘When this promotion was first kicked off last year, it was created as a ‘fun’ and interesting marketing campaign for our loyal customers, It was designed to link the French apparel brand with the French box-office movie, ‘The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec’, which was being shown in Bangkok at that time. ........The U-Guy male model search project is another innovative approach to marketing which Guy Laroche initiated last year. Designed to find the ideal male model to act as the brand spokesman for the Guy Guy Laroch, this campaign also will introduce the brand to a younger generation of customers: university students, who are about to graduate and enter the work force.
........The primary selection process began at the regional level in October of this year; and it will run until January of 2012. Five separate contests are being organized in major cities throughout Thailand (Eastern Region: Chonburi; Northern Region: Chiang Mai; North Eastern Region: Khon Kaen; Southern Region: Nakorn Si Thammarat; Central: Bangkok), in order to select the best from across the country before the final competition is held in Bangkok during February 2012. Jointly organized with the Robinson Department Store (with support by Teerak Studio, among others), the winner of the 2nd annual model search will be announced at the final round of the contest to be held at Future Park Rangsit.
