MINI Design celebration MINI Thailand teams up with
seeking ideas that change the world

........... 16 September 2010 MINI Thailand holds a press conference to kick off its big project ‘MINI Design Celebration’ which joins hand with leading artists and designers to foresee what our world would be like in the next half of the century.
...........“MINI Design Celebration project is inspired by the birth of MINI 51 years ago when Sir Alec Issigonis wanted to create a small compact car with full usage. From that little idea, it has marked MINI a legendary iconic car of the world until the present days. This has enlightened us up to ‘think creatively’ with the question - if we start seeing the world creatively, what idea could turn big in the next 50 years? We then invite 20 Thailand ’s leading artists and designers to exercise their creative brains foreseeing design of the future into miniature MINI,” said Krisda Utamote, MINI Thailand ’s General Manager.
