Paragon Cineplex, the one and the only 6 stars cinema in Thailand, in
corporate with Idea 24 x 7 Media Solution, the Indian base organizer
to held mega event “Film Award Bangla 2010 (FAB 2010)” which is the
first Tollywood Award Presentation in Thailand The event will be held
on 13-14 June 2010 at Siam Pavalai Theatre, 6th Floor, Paragon Cineplex.
The objective of organizing this event is to promote Bengali Film Industry
as well as the Indian culture to International market.

event is the Bengali equivalent of the Academy Awards. Bengali will
be used in this Award presentation which is the language normally uses
in some part of India and Bangladesh . There will be the opening Ceremony
and award presentation in Siam Pavalai on 14 June 2010 at 18.00 onward.
This will be the Red carpet Gala night of Tollywood stars lining up
on red carpet from India, Bangaldesh for more than 400 celebrities such
as Aniruddha Roychowdhury (Director), Arpita Pal, Indraneel Sengupta,
Aparna Sen, Indrani Dutta, Buddhadeb Dasgupta (Director), Indrani Haldar,
Dhritiman Chatter. The event will be taped to broadcast in “Rupashi
Bangla Channel” which is Indian Entertainment Channel

Award Bangla 2010 is the second large film award for Indian Film Industry.
This is the first time they organizer the event oversea. Thailand
is selected to be the host country for this glamour event as the reflection
from the successful of being the host for “The International Indian
Film Academy (IIFA) in 2008
There are about 80 films a year produced in the Bengali language making it one of the largest film producers in the world. There are some highlights of award category as follow; 1. the Award presentation, there will be 2 movies preview which are Le
Chakka and Ekti Tarar Khonje
Le Chakka (Time showing : Sunday 13 June 2010 18.00-20.15) at Paragon Cineplex. The story is about 11 bullets which is a very bad cricket team of North Kolkata. The team is formed with the people of the locality, who have various professions. The film starts with a match between 11 bullets and a cricket team of South Kolkata. The hero, named Abir, alone smashes 11 bullets. The team members of 11 bullets are then abused by the people of their locality. In the meantime, Abir comes with his family to stay at Dorjipara, which is the locality of 11 bullets. But, due to the huge cultural difference between north Kolkata and south Kolkata, Abir becomes irritated to stay over there. The niece of the landlord of Abir’s tenant house starts having regular quarrels with Abir. Then one day, Abir comes to know that some political leader is trying to grab Dorjipara and for that, the leader wants the tenant house, which the landlord doesn’t want to sell. When Abir teaches the 11 bullets people, that without protesting against these political evils, they will not be able to survive, slowly, those people come close to Airman vice versa. Then slowly, Abir gets intimate with Rani, which her brother Rajat doesn’t like. A person, Shankar, who is attached to that leader comes and gets involved with the unmarried, frustrated, elder sister of Rain, named Ratna. But, when, Shankar says that, he wants to marry Radicand not Ratna, then Ratna commits suicide. Ultimately, when the party leaders come to take control over Dorjipara, Air throws a challenge of a cricket match, which is going to decide, who’s going to get control over the house.11 bullets get a tensed and marvelous win, and Abir gets a romantic win over Rani. |

a young man in search of recognition. He relocates to the big city to
figure out what the future has in store for him. In Kolkata, he encounters
the quirkiness of everyday realities. Strange people bump into him at
unexpected turns and make his journey a roller coaster ride. His dream
of becoming a hero is intertwined with his nightmarish experiences in
the city. But, Abhishek’s ability to see things in a different light
keeps him going.
